Compounds
GP35 — all-around race compound. Girodisc's most-recommended pad for track-day drivers and a common choice in professional racing. It blends much of the wear life of an endurance pad with most of the initial bite of a sprint pad, and it beds in easily.
Smooth, linear torque output gives predictable modulation and a clean release when trail braking. Works with street-car ABS as well as motorsport ABS, on anything from DOT street tires to R-compounds and slicks.
For iron rotors only.
GP10 — performance street pad. A semi-metallic compound tuned for daily driving: quiet and low-dust, with confident stopping power and enough heat tolerance for the occasional track day.
If you plan on regular or aggressive track sessions, choose one of the race compounds instead.
PHD Tip
Add Girodisc titanium pad shields (TS-1001-4) for this pad shape to keep track heat out of the caliper pistons, seals and fluid.
